Tomaz Salamun is a widely translated and anthologized Slovenian poet. His last two books in English translations are Feast (Harcourt, 2000) and A Ballad for Metka Krassovec (Twisted Spoons Press, 2001). His first book Poker, published in samizdat, will appear in English this fall by Ugly Duckling Press, translated by Joshua Beckman.
