JANE MILLER's new and selected poems, Memory at These Speeds, will be published in the Fall of 1996 by Copper Canyon Press. She has received a Lila Wallace Reader's Digest Writer's Award, and fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. She won the National Poetry Series Open Competition in 1982 with The Greater Leisures and co-authored (with Olga Broumas) Black Holes, Black Stockings. Her collection of essays on poetry, culture, and travel, Working Time, was recently published by the University of Michigan Press. She has taught at Goddard College, The University of Iowa Writers' Workshop, and the University of Arizona in Tucson.
