Young's next book, Skid, will be published
by University of Pittsburgh Press in the spring
of 2002. He teaches as a visitor at the Iowa
Writers' Workshop. Most of the time, he tries
to be in Berkeley with his wife, the novelist
Cornelia Nixon, and his cat, the Abyssinian,
Keats.
