Joshua Clover is the author of The Totality for Kids (California 2006), The Matrix (2005), and Madonna anno domini (LSU 1997). His forthcoming book is 1989: Bob Dylan Didn't Have This to Sing About (California 2009); he is currently co-writing a cultural encyclopedia of the year 1973 with Christopher Nealon.
