Heather McHugh is Milliman Distinguished Writer-in-Residence at the University of Washington in Seattle and a continuing visitor at the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College in Asheville NC. She edited Best American Poetry 2007; her own most recent book of poems was Eyeshot and her literary essays (Broken English: Poetry and Partiality) were also published by Wesleyan University Press.
