Elisabeth Frost is the author of The Feminist Avant-Garde in American Poetry (Iowa, 2003) and the co-editor, with Cynthia Hogue, of Innovative Women Poets: An Anthology of Contemporary Poetry and Interviews (Iowa, 2006). She has published poetry, essays, reviews and interviews widely. She has received grants from the Rockefeller Foundation-Bellagio Center, the University of Connecticut Humanities Institute, and the MacDowell Colony for the Arts, among others. She is an associate professor of English at Fordham University, where she directs the Poets Out Loud reading series and is editor of the Poets Out Loud Prize from Fordham University Press
