Rusty Morrison's first book of poetry, WHETHERING, won the Colorado Center for Literary Publishing Poetry Prize and will be published in November 2004. She was the co-winner of the 2003 Robert H. Winner Memorial Award from the Poetry Society of America and the Five Fingers Review Poetry Prize. She is a contributing editor for Poetry Flash and her essays, reviews, and poems are published or forthcoming in Colorado Review, Denver Quarterly, Boston Review, New American Writing, VOLT, and elsewhere. She is the co-publisher and co-editor of Omnidawn Publishing, and she co-edits 26, a journal of poetry and poetics published in affiliation with Saint Mary's MFA program.
