Christopher Salerno's collection, Whirligig, has been shortlisted for
the
Walt Whitman Award from the Academy of American Poets. His work appears in
or is forthcoming from journals such as: The Colorado Review, Jubilat, LIT,
Free Verse, River City, Agni-online, Forklift Ohio and others. His chapbook
is "Waving Something White," from University Book Exchange's Independent
Press (2003). A recent finalist for Swink Magazine's Emerging Writer's
Award, he currently teaches writing at North Carolina State University in
Raleigh, NC where he is a member of the Lucifer Poets. His email is
