Rain Ananael



Rain Ananael received her MA in Creative Writing: Poetry at California State University, Sacramento. She lives in Sacramento and works for the California Department of Conservation mapping land use changes throughout the state. She has a BS in Conservation Biology and is currently working on a book of poems that captures the loss and extinction of living organisms, place, and native cultures. She is also working on a memoir that explores the place of girls in a Darwinian society of science, religion, politics and sexuality.
