John Casteen John Casteen has worked as a farmhand, canoe guide and carpenter and is now self-employed as a designer and builder of furniture. He was educated at the University of Virginia and the Iowa Writers' Workshop; he lives with his wife and daughter where he grew up. His poems have appeared in Shenandoah and Southern Poetry Review and are forthcoming in The Georgia Review and Ploughshares.
