Rachel Loden

Rachel Loden's book Hotel Imperium won the Contemporary Poetry Series competition of the University of Georgia Press and was named one of the ten best poetry books of the year by the San Francisco Chronicle Book Review. She has also published a prizewinning chapbook, The Last Campaign (Hudson Valley Writers' Center/Slapering Hol Press). Her poems have appeared in The Paris Review, New American Writing, Like Thunder (Iowa), An Exaltation of Forms (Michigan) and many other magazines and anthologies. Her awards include a Pushcart Prize (current edition) and a 2002 California Arts Council Fellowship in Poetry.
